Michael Gallucci is the Founder and Managing Director of MPG, providing quality surveying, project management, expert witness and dispute resolution services. With more than 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, Michael is an expert in mediation, arbitration and dispute resolution. He is an accomplished and experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager and Quantum Expert Witness

Michael is a member of the Society of Construction Law, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and is an RICS Accredited Mediator.

Having graduated with a MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration, Michael has completed an I-GDL at the University of Law.

He enjoys travel, which is fortunate as the MPG network of offices grows across Europe and the Middle East. Michael spends his time away from work competing in triathlons, playing golf, watching West Ham and looking after his twins, although not necessarily in that order.

Abbas is experienced,  professional, motivated and focused with 35 years in the rail and construction sectors.  He has an excellent working knowledge of NEC form of contracts, management of Sub-Sub-Contract accounts to Final Account Settlement, preparation and agreement of Applications for Contract Values, management of project cost reporting, producing and issuing Clause 32 Periodical Programmes and advising of associated cost impacts.  Projects include; Hospitals, exhibition Centres, Crossrail, DLR, Stadiums.

Fluent in Spanish Abbas enjoys travelling, spending time with his family and watching most sports.

A highly experienced administrator, professional, organised, reliable, adaptable and resourceful who has supported us on projects including Crossrail, Hilton Hotel Riyadh, UCLH, GOSH, Barton School.  PA to MD, Office Manager, purchasing, administration, HR and, with our accountants, invoicing and timesheet records.  Used to working confidentially at senior management level, handling sensitive data and working to tight deadlines.
Samson joined MPGQS as an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor. His father who has worked for MPG since 1997 introduced him to us and we have enrolled him on the BSc(Hons) QS degree course.  He is proactive, able to prioritise his workload, quick to learn and reliable with good communication and social skills and is IT literate in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Samson has already gained 4 years’ experience in a professional work environment and has demonstrated he skills including listening and following instructions, completing tasks within the given timeframe and that he is flexible and willing and able to work with others as part of a team and on his own as required.  He is motivated and always looking to enhance his knowledge and skillset.

Prior to joining MPG, Shaun worked for BBESL, VVB and Inviron Ltd as a senior quantity surveyor. His considerable experience is wide and varied, working in mechanical and electrical, and his skillset includes post tender analysis, management of procurement compilation and agreement of EWNs and CENs, vetting contractor’s tender bids and cost analysis of contract progress and projected final costs. He has worked on projects for Northcroft at Credits Suisse, Docklands, Crown House Technologies and Haden Young.
Ashley has substantial experience in handling commercial and contractual matters relating to both Building and Mechanical Electrical Services Engineering installations from a specialist contractor’s perspective.  During the last 25 or so years Ashley’s experience includes financial accounting, new-build and fit-out or refurbishment on commercial, office, retail, industrial, health and leisure service projects with values ranging between £50k and £100m. He has gained experience with most forms of procurement including lump sum drawings and specification, two stage re-measure, management design and build and prime costs, together with tendering and estimating.  This wide range of experience has allowed him to become familiar with the operational aspects of many forms of contract, JCT; NEC etc.   His Quantity Surveying experience is substantial and for the past 20 years Ashley has become involved with dispute or contract advice issues.

A keen traveller and explorer of the outdoors, in his spare time Ashley has a wide range of interests that he does with both two children (aged 13 and 11), with friends and by himself including camping, boating, skiing, cycling and scuba diving.  He regularly enters cycling sportives, charity events, squash and tennis competitions and somehow also finds time to do some running as well.

Lee is a strategic, analytical thinker, focused, results-oriented, natural leader, highly motivated, proven record of success managing people and processes. Over 36 years’ experience in rail, construction & security sectors as a Commercial Manager .  He has invaluable skills in managing procurement, monthly forecasting, negotiations of client bespoke Terms and Conditions, developing sales opportunities, management of procurement, risk management and negotiation and agreement of particular terms of Agreement in Contracts.  His past experience includes  working as Head of Sales UAE Commercial with Tyco Fire & Security UAE LLC .
Anatoli is a Delay (Forensic) Programme Analyst with 15 years’ experience in the construction and rail industry, working on civil and construction projects from drawings to project completion, for main and sub-contractors.  He is versatile with proven management and interpersonal skills and prior to joining MPG worked on two flagship Shell & Core Projects in Canary Wharf. Anatoli spent several years at Crossrail and has been overseeing MEP works packages at C350 Pudding Mill Lane EIP and C512 Whitechapel projects.  His industry sector experience includes Construction, Rail (Network Rail, Underground and Overground), Aviation, Oil and Gas, Education, Healthcare and Sports Centres. 

An experienced professional accustomed to working proactively in autonomous roles encompassing project and programmed framework, Anatoli is self-motivated, result driven and responds positively to pressure, using his analytical skills combined with goal oriented positive thinking to generate effective solutions.  A key team player in Project management and Planning environments, his knowledge and expertise cover Project Planning and Scheduling, Cost Estimating and Control, Project forecasting, Project change management, Project delay analysis, Preparation of Weekly, Monthly and Close out Reports. 

Anatoli provides planning & program services to ensure end to end project delivery that meets stringent time-scales & allocated budget.  He is experienced in tender programs, working on client sites to ensure the smooth delivery of the project & managing the project planning life cycle phases through to completion, project cost control & submitting regular project progress reports.

Geoff has over 30 years experience of residential and commercial development, petrochemical, power, engineering, piping, communications technology, rail and construction projects worldwide, in particular the UK, Europe, Africa and the Gulf States and has acted as Adjudicator in numerous disputes.  He is renown for providing clear, concise and reasoned decisions, receiving compliments from instructing Attorneys and Parties alike. Geoff has considerable experience in many forms of contract including the NEC, FIDIC and JCT suite of contracts and is a regular contributor to the NEC3 reachback forum as well as providing mentoring support to the Construction and Engineering Industries involving commercial and contractual issues.
An enthusiastic Apprentice Quantity Surveyor who, supported by MPG, has successfully completed RICS Foundation in Quantity Surveying and is now one of our Apprentices in his second year of a four year Construction Surveying degree as at London Southbank University.  Has assisted Senior QS on projects including Crossrail and London University Hospital, working out of client’s sites and offices as well as those of MPG.

Tim Murungi

Claims & Quantity Surveyor (East Africa Office)
Tim’s knowledge and understanding of the construction industry, is established across a diverse range of industry sectors (Commercial; Real estate, Hospitality & Infrastructure), and his skillset includes budgeting, estimating and tendering, cost and commercial management, project controls, risk and opportunity management, scheduling and document management and whole life cycle costing. Tim  has been involved in projects that include water, power, roads, an industrial park and a marina development across the world.  He is experience in team development, relationship management, commercial stewardship, governance, consistent reporting and forecasting and couples this with good contractual and technical knowledge and approaches all tasks professionally and with a determination to get things right first time.

Away from MPG, likely as not Tim can be found out running around his local area.

David is a Mechanical HVAC specialist and expert in heating, cooling, ventilation and overheating of buildings and an M&E QS and Expert Witness/Independent Technical Expert with 38 years’ experience in Building Services Engineering consultancy, management, Detailed report writing including property estate condition surveys. He has worked as  Engineering Director, Senior M&E Consultant and Technical Lead, MEP Project Manager, Mechanical Engineer, Account Director on projects across the construction sectors including hotels, education, retail, industrial, residential, commercial offices, defence, sport and leisure and arts and heritage and has strong communication and team motivational skills.
Martin is an experienced QS who has been with MPG for a number of years, working on high profile and complex projects including Safehost 4 Data Centre, South West Regional Health Authority, Bond Street Crossrail, Tottenham Court Road and Liverpool Street upgrades, Eurostar, Wellcome Foundation research centre, Met Police HQ refurbishment and a new primary care hospital, luxury apartments, office complexes and hotels.  His areas of expertise include producing comparisons and reports for delay, claims and adjudications and document spreadsheets.
Druveesha is a Change Manager and Forensic Quantity SurveyorShe is diligent, motivated, organised and proactive, with a strong desire to succeed.  Druveesha has worked on contracts with clients who include LB Foster TEW, Amey Plc and Tube Lines Ltd., on projects including Crossrail, Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly Lines.  Familiar with NEC3 and JCT Contracts for pricing change, final accounting, preparation of work quotations, updating work logs and preparing payment applications. She is currently assisting preparation of loss and expense claims and conducting contract risk reviews.
