Also known as the HSBC Tower, 8 Canada Square was completed in 2002 for HSBC as their global headquarters.
Key Facts:
The 45 floor building has a total office space of 1,100,000 square feet and can accommodate 8,000 workers.
At the time of construction, it was the 2nd tallest building in Canary Wharf standing at 656ft.
It was the first building to be sold for more than £1bn in Britain.
